ROANOKE, Va. – Virginia State Police is investigating the death of an inmate at the Roanoke City Adult Detention Center, according to the Roanoke Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the individual died Monday after being found unresponsive during a scheduled medical round by detention staff.
