ROANOKE, Va. – Salem Native and Virginia Tech Junior Connor Price was just 9 years old when his father was diagnosed with leukemia. More than a decade later, he’s turning that heartbreak into hope.
Price, founder of the Jason Price Foundation, is hosting the organization’s second “All In for Cancer” poker tournament this Sunday at the Taubman Museum in Roanoke. The event begins at 6 p.m., with tickets starting at $50 to attend and $100 to play.
