Traditional Medicinals has started producing tea at its new $47 million plant in Franklin County, the company announced Monday in a PR Newswire release. The facility has created 19 jobs so far, all filled by local hires.
The 110,000-square-foot plant sits in Summit View Business Park. It is the company’s second manufacturing site, joining the original facility in Sebastopol, California, and gives the company manufacturing on both coasts.
The company says the move should make distribution more efficient and help it meet growing demand nationwide.
