MONETA, Va. (WFXR) – The Moneta Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a benefit fundraiser for their president Chris Tucker on Saturday, Feb. 17 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tucker, who has dedicated his life to serving the community as a firefighter for many years, is currently in a battle with cancer. The fire department says although he is undergoing treatment and enduring a lot, he is staying strong through it all.
