ROANOKE, Va. ( WFXR ) – High pressure will remain in control of our weather for the next several days which will allow for sunshine to heat us up during the day with temperatures getting chilly at night under a clear sky.
Tuesday will start with temperatures in the 20s and 30s. Sunshine will allow for temperatures to rise into the 50s for most of the region.
An upper-level area of high pressure will remain across the central part of the county, which will keep active weather out of the region. The pattern will break down toward the end of the week which will allow the chance for rain to return on Friday. Showers will remain possible into the weekend.
Temperatures will remain above average through the end of the week and for the weekend with a slight cool down expected next week.
