THAXTON, Va. (WFXR) – The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after the death of an infant occurred in Thaxton on Feb. 10. According to the sheriff, around 2:10 a.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to the 1000 block of Breezy Ridge Road. On the scene, an infant child was found not breathing.
