SALEM, Va. (WDBJ) – A man has been arrested for the theft of a Roanoke City ambulance from LewisGale Medical Center in Salem Tuesday night. The ambulance was stolen around 9:30 p.m. from the ambulance bay at the hospital, according to Roanoke Fire-EMS Chief David Hoback. He said paramedics had just unloaded a patient when a man climbed into the ambulance and drove off.
