Roanoke County plans to hold a community meeting on February 28, 2024. The meeting will discuss proposed safety improvements at the West Main Street and Dow Hollow Road intersection. It will take place near Interstate 81 at Exit 132, also known as Dixie Caverns. The meeting will follow an open house format from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Glenvar Library, located at 3917 Daugherty Road, Salem, VA 24153, is the chosen venue. If the weather is bad, the meeting will move to March 6, 2024, same time and place. The goal of the meeting is to collect public views on the proposed intersection improvements.
If you can’t attend, the proposed improvements will be online after the meeting. A survey will also be open until March 13, 2024, for additional feedback. This effort is part of Roanoke County’s dedication to enhancing road safety and infrastructure.
