ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)- The Roanoke Fire Department says multiple tenants are displaced after an apartment fire at the Brandywine Complex on Winthrop Ave on Friday, May 3. According to the fire department, crews were dispatched at 11:45 p.m. to the Brandywine Complex on the 2300 block of Winthrop Drive. The fire was quickly upgraded to a second alarm response due to the occupancy type, building present, and the intensity of the fire.
