ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – The Valley View Regal movie theater is back open after it was briefly closed Friday because of a bomb threat, according to Roanoke Police. About 10:19 a.m. June 28, 2024, police say, someone called 911 about a potential bomb threat at the theater. Roanoke Police and Virginia State Police responded and worked with management to evacuate and search the building. Officers determined there was no safety concern and released the building back to management.
