Roanoke set to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month Saturday

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Roanoke is paying tribute to Hispanic culture Saturday as Local Colors is hosting its 5th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. Hispanic Heritage Month honors the rich history, diverse cultures and contributions of people from Latino/Hispanic heritage! What started as Hispanic Heritage week turned into a month-long celebration in 1988 by President Ronald Reagan. This weekend Local Colors of Western VA is bringing the festivities to the Star City once again.
