Virginia Tech wide receiver Stephen Gosnell is going after the ACC Conference for the controversial call on the Hail Mary that ended the Hokies’ upset bid against Miami .

Temporality on Friday evening, it looked like Gosnell and the Hokies pulled off a miracle, as Kyron Drones threw up the last-second pass. However, the officials overturned the call and deemed it incomplete.

Drones’ pass went into a group of Hokies and Hurricanes players, and the officials ruled Da’Quon Felton came down with it. They then went to the replay center for a lengthy review before overturning the call. That meant it was an incomplete pass, giving Miami its fifth straight win to start the season.

Evidently, the overturn wasn’t something Virginia Tech players were too smitten with. Gosnell went straight to social media to try and stick up for his teammates, directing his anger towards the conference and insinuating there was some foul play at work.
