Pinpoint Weather: Cold, breezy with snow possibilities

ROANOKE, Va. ( WFXR ) – The rest of the week into the weekend will be turning colder with gusty wind and mountain show showers continuing. We are also tracking the potential development of a storm that could bring snowfall Sunday night and Monday.

Tonight will be clear and breezy with morning lows in the 20s. Thursday will be chilly with highs in the 30s and 40s.

Thursday will be breezy with wind gusts of 25 to 30 mph.

There is a chance of flurries and snow showers on Friday for areas west of the Blue Ridge. Then, there is the possibility of snow and rain and a wintry mix on Sunday night and Monday.

Temperatures will be below normal for the coming week with bitterly cold mornings possible.
