Fighting global hunger: North Cross School hosts community service project

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – North Cross School in Roanoke honored Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy while making a positive impact on global hunger during its annual community-wide service project Monday.

Students at North Cross School along with individuals from the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas joined together. In partnership with Rise Against Hunger, the event aims to foster community engagement by gathering and packaging nutritious, dried meals for remote communities around the world facing hunger challenges.
