ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A cold front will move into the region on Saturday, bringing the chance for showers to parts of the region. The best potential for rain will be Saturday morning for areas west of the Blue Ridge. Areas to the east should remain dry.
For those who see rain, it will be light. Less than a tenth of an inch is expected in parts of the New River and Roanoke Valleys and Highlands.
Behind the first front, breezy conditions are expected. Wind gusts to 25 mph are expected Saturday afternoon, becoming weaker Saturday evening.
