BEDFORD, Va. (WSET) — A Bedford County judge has ruled to proceed with charges against Nathaniel Pridemore, who is accused of killing his child’s mother, Christina Hamilton, and 19-year-old Cash Gaudio.
Pridemore faced additional charges today related to weapons and assault on law enforcement stemming from his arrest in early October.
Wednesday afternoon, Pridemore had a preliminary hearing on those charges. The Bedford County Commonwealth’s Attorney called a couple of witnesses to testify, both Bedford County Sheriff’s deputies.
They testified today that they responded to a call about a man walking without shoes and holding a child. Deputies said Pridemore was acting unusually, and upon discovering he had a gun, they confiscated the firearm and took the child.
