Virginia State Police investigating school bus, truck crash

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – Virginia State Police are investigating a crash Friday, May 9 at 2:05 p.m. involving a school bus and truck with a trailer attached, according to Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office says the school bus involved is based out of Roanoke City Public Schools and provides alternative school transportation to/from Roanoke City and Franklin County.

No students were on the bus, and information on injuries and the cause of the crash is undetermined, according to the sheriff’s office…
