Teen credits Metallica for saving family after truck plows into home on concert day

GOODVIEW, Va. (WKRC) – A teen girl is crediting legendary rock group Metallica for saving her family’s life after a truck plowed into their living room.

According to WDBJ, 14-year-old Madeline McKee thanked Metallica for saving her parents’ lives after a pickup truck crashed into their Goodview, Virginia home at 2 a.m. on the day of the concert, which fell on May 7.

McKee told reporters with WDBJ that her love for the band started at a young age.

“It started my dad used to listen to it a lot when I was younger and then when “Stranger Things”, like, season four had came out, they had Eddie playing “Master of Puppets’ and that was mostly when it started like a lot more for me,” McKee told the outlet…
