There’s a chance of seeing some showers and storms develop this afternoon as a cold front approaches the area. Not everybody will see storms in their hometowns, but there could be some quick downpours in a few areas.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed our area under a Marginal Risk of severe weather this afternoon. This means that with any storms that form, one or two of them will have the potential to become strong to severe. The primary concern is damaging wind.
