LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – Schools across the region dominated in day two of the VHSL Class 3 & 4 state track meet in Lynchburg.
In the class 4 girls mile, heat two showcase three young talented student-athletes of Blacksburg who all place in the top 12. Both freshmen Lola Olsen and Ruthie Delapp took second and third in this event.
Staying with class 4 but in the 800 meter, Blacksburg’s Reilly Thomas secured gold for the Bruins. After staying with the pack, Thomas said she kicked in the gear to pass those on the turn and pull ahead for a win in this fun race…
