MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – School’s out for the summer, but kitchens in Montgomery County Public Schools are staying busy making sure no kid goes hungry, offering free meals to students throughout the month of June.
Although summer is two months of students being able to relax, sometimes it’s a time of stress for parents and families wondering how they can get food on the table. As Supervisor for School Nutrition Programs, Michelle Knotts doesn’t want any MCPS families having that fear.
