Roanoke Fire-EMS prepared for increase in heat-related emergencies

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – With extreme heat expected through the week, local fire and EMS departments are prepared for increased calls for heat-related emergencies.

WDBJ7 rode along with a Roanoke EMS crew on Monday to see how first responders were dealing with the heat wave.
