ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Mill Mountain Zoo has announced that Dr. Zoolittle Day will be canceled on Saturday, June 28.
The zoo will remain open during normal hours; however, due to the heat index, the event will be cancelled.
A release from Mill Mountain Zoo said, “The safety of our guests, animals, staff, and volunteers is always our top priority, and in these conditions, we do not feel it would be responsible to proceed with the event.”…
