PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A homicide suspect is in custody on Sunday after officials said he shot a Farmville police officer less than 24 hours after reportedly murdering someone in Roanoke.
According to officials, the incident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 29, following a sighting of the suspect, near Prince Edward Highway, U.S. Route 460, and Hixburg Road.
