ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Some people in Roanoke got a big discount on gas Friday.
The Circle K on Orange Avenue was selling fuel for $1.77 in honor of the 4th of July, with lots of drivers lining up to take advantage.
“The driving reason for us doing the gas price today is, it’s 4th of July,” said owner Soni. “The reason the price is a dollar seventy-seven is for 1776, the independence year. So we wanted to say thank you to our veterans, we want to say thank you to our community and just give back to our community.”…
