ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)- The Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center in Roanoke is now treating its third orphaned bobcat kitten of 2025.
According to the center, the first bobcat kitten arrived May 21 from Floyd County, weighing in at just over a pound. His mother had, unfortunately, been struck and killed by a vehicle.
The second kitten was brought in on June 20. She was rescued in Grayson County when a resident noticed she was wedged in a pile of rocks. Her mother was not found in the area.
