Roanoke, Virginia – The Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office is inviting the entire community to join the 3rd Annual National Hot Dog Day on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Washington Park. This free two-hour event is open to everyone looking for an evening packed with fun, food, and neighborly connection—whether you’re a local worker looking for an evening break, families with kids on summer vacation, daycare groups, or anyone in the community eager to join.
Attendees can look forward to a free meal that includes two hotdogs, a bag of chips, and a drink. But it’s not just about the food. There will also be games and bounce houses on-site, offering plenty of entertainment for kids and families.
