ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Showers and storms will decrease in coverage and intensity Wednesday night. Thunderstorms are expected to return again Thursday afternoon as heat and humidity remain in place.
Some storms could be strong to severe during the afternoon and evening hours. Damaging winds will be the main threat.
Temperatures are expected to be slightly warmer on Thursday. The day will start in the upper 60s to mid-70s, rising into the 80s and 90s during the afternoon.
