BEDFORD COUNTY, Va (WFXR) — If you’re looking for some family fun this weekend, well, you’re just in luck because Gross’ Orchard in Bedford County is inviting everyone to come out for a good time and to make some sweet summer memories at their annual Peach Festival.
The festival will be filled with live music, craft vendors, wagon rides, and of course, peaches! You’ll be able to pick your peaches, eat some peach pie, or some homemade peach ice cream.
“It’s a great opportunity for people to learn about Gross’ Orchard, but it’s [also] an educational process for families,” Ronnie Gross, the orchard’s manager, said. “A lot of children that’s never been here before, they have no idea where fruit comes from. They think it comes from a refrigerated case. But guess what, guys? It comes from a tree grown right here in apple valley at Gross’ Orchard.”…
