Roanoke’s Foundry project receives $1 million in state grant funding for industrial revitalization projects

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Governor Glenn Youngkin announced $5.4 million in grant funding Friday morning for various community revitalization projects throughout the state.

“I look forward to seeing these projects create opportunity and prosperity for the Virginia communities that make our state the best place to live, work, raise a family, and do business,” said Youngkin as part of Friday morning’s announcement.

The funding comes from the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development, and went out to 30 different localities in an effort to bolster local communities and businesses…
