ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Back-to-school shopping is in full swing, and parents across the Roanoke Valley are crossing things off their list of needs for the first day of class.
This weekend would be a great time to go since it’s the annual Virginia sales tax holiday. All weekend long, customers can go shopping, and any school supplies that cost $20 or less, along with any clothing or shoes that are $100 or less, are exempt from any sales tax.
