ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)-Prosecutors said a Roanoke man will spend more than 12 years in federal prison in connection with the death of his alleged drug supplier.
According to a press release from U.S. Attorney C. Todd Gilbert, Garrett Williams, 22, was involved in “distributing large quantities of marijuana and helping plan a robbery that ultimately led to the murder of his drug supplier.”
Williams’ co-defendant, Joseph Walker, was previously sentenced to 35 years in federal prison.
