RESET team walks Roanoke neighborhoods affected by shootings

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – In the wake of multiple recent shootings, Roanoke’s RESET team was back on the ground Friday, visiting Crescent Street and Hunt Avenue in NW Roanoke, two neighborhoods shaken by shootings.

For residents like Omar Rabb, the chance to talk with officers is a step toward healing.

“It’s a wonderful feeling to know that we’ve got better security in the Roanoke Valley,” Rabb said. “It means a lot for somebody to knock on our door and wish us the best, and all our neighbors.”…
