ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – A $50,000 infrastructure grant from the Commonwealth of Virginia will be used to improve the Historic Roanoke City Market, according to the City of Roanoke.
The grant, part of the statewide initiative via Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s office to bolster local food production and agricultural facilities across the state, was awarded in late June and accepted by the Roanoke City Council in early August, the city said.
