Angels of Assisi opens new facility

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Angels of Assisi’s Pet Clinic and Adoption Center has opened a new facility on Franklin Road SW to better serve its animals and the community.

“Our current facility is 94 years old. We outgrew it a long time ago. The concept of the new facility is that animals won’t be here as long,” said Angels of Assisi Director Lisa O’Neill.

The new 14,000-square-foot building is two stories and has a rooftop area for dogs to enjoy outdoor play. On the first floor, you’ll find a larger lobby and a clinic equipped with double the number of exam rooms and surgical tables compared to the previous location, along with new X-ray and CT scan machines…
