Lenny Baldwin, Jr., 30, of Roanoke, pleaded guilty this week to witness tampering after he engaged in a relationship with a 16-year-old boy after being released from federal prison.
Prosecutors said Baldwin was on supervised release for a prior conviction involving minors when he began exchanging sexually charged messages with the teen he met while working at Dollar Tree in 2023.
In October 2023, Baldwin sent sexually explicit texts to the teen using an iPhone and then used the device’s “unsend” feature to try to erase three of the messages, officials noted…
