A Virginia man has pleaded guilty to killing an 80-year-old woman with a rock after she questioned whether he lived in her building.
Kurt Davis, 34, was charged with the murder of Susan Williams of Crystal Spring in February. On Monday, Davis changed his plea to guilty after prosecutors showed evidence in court that they were planning to introduce at trial, including video of him talking to Williams and later attacking her, Law and Crime reported.
Authorities were called to Williams’ apartment complex in Roanoke and found Davis standing over her, the Roanoke Police Department said. Davis claimed he killed her to “keep the peace,” according to search warrants obtained by WDBJ7.
