CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – There’s some controversy with the Christiansburg Farmers’ Market. Some say it’s thriving in its current location. But town leaders say that spot was never meant to be permanent. Now vendors are pushing back against plans to move it downtown.
“It doesn’t make sense to move a farmers’ market when you have a good facility that’s basically brand new and put it back to a place where it was when it didn’t work,” Rose Gillum, owner of Divine Delights Bakery, said.
