Furry Friends: Jira is full of love, smiles, and spunk!

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)—WFXR News highlights pets ready for adoption in area shelters through our weekly segment, Furry Friends!

On Tuesday, September 2, Kathy Bauman and Anita Finkle with the Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection (RCACP) brought Jira to the WFXR News Studio.

Jira is a spunky senior who is about ten years old. Her favorite things include spending time with people and getting belly rubs. While she might not be up for a long, rigorous hike, she enjoys car rides and taking walks.

Furry Friends: Bug Eyed Frank has a big personality!

Jira would fit in with almost any household, as long as she gets plenty of affection! She is known to be good with other dogs and kids. Anita and Kathy say she is well-behaved and housebroken.

Jira has years of experience being a lovable furry companion. She is ready to share her devotion and big smile with a new family!
