Teen who pleaded guilty to killing another teen sentenced to prison

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – A 16-year-old who pleaded guilty to first-degree murder has been sentenced to 25 years in prison, followed by probation, according to online court records.

Daydrian Martin pleaded to the murder of 15-year-old Isaac Cunningham, which took place in June 2024 on Ferncliff Avenue.

In court September 8, 2025, Martin was sentenced to 37 years for first-degree murder, plus three years for use of a firearm, with 15 years suspended, followed by five years probation…
