ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – One of Roanoke’s most popular cultural events is getting a new look this year. For the first time in its 17-year history, the annual Roanoke Greek Festival will be drive-thru only.
The change comes down to manpower. Organizers say the festival has outgrown its workforce, with fewer church members and volunteers available to run the full event.
