BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)- The Western Virginia Water Authority Board has authorized two agreements to help pave the way for a potential Google data center in Greenfield.
The first agreement, with Botetourt County, allows the water authority “to study and develop new water supply sources to meet the growing needs of the County and the surrounding region,” according to the press release. County coffers will provide most of the funding.
The second agreement, with Google, “will enable the Authority to develop new, efficient and sustainable water infrastructure solutions, solely at the company’s expense.”…
