ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Two William Fleming High School graduates have returned to their alma mater with a mission to provide non-English speaking students with the same educational opportunities they received.
Walking in the hallways where they once studied, Keyla Marquez and Wendy Franco now fill different roles as English Learner (EL) educators.
“I was able to go to college because people at William Fleming believed I could do so.
