BEDFORD, Va. (WFXR) – The Bedford County Economic Development Authority (EDA) has announced the launch of the second year of its Childcare Facilities Grant.
Officials say $30,000 in incentive funding is available this year to be divided among qualified applicants. An eligible applicant must be Licensed Providers/Programs through the Commonwealth of Virginia, or the grant must result in the provider achieving licensure.
According to the EDA, the matching grant provides up to $30,000 for capital equipment purchases, infrastructure improvements, or training expenses tied to the creation or expansion of child care facilities in Bedford County.
