Motorcyclist identified in fatal Roanoke crash

ROANOKE Va. (WFXR)- The Roanoke Police Department has identified a man who was killed in a motorcycle collision on Wednesday, September 17.

According to police, the motorcyclist, identified as Leslie Scott Boston, Jr., 52, of Roanoke, was traveling at a high rate of speed when he collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado in the 4800 block of Melrose Avenue NW. Police said the pickup was pulling out of a parking lot at the time.

Man faces seven charges after shooting in Lynchburg

The driver of the Silverado stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigating officers.

Boston was taken to a local hospital where he later died…
