Blacksburg, VA – The National Weather Service in Blacksburg is warning residents across southwest Virginia and southern West Virginia to prepare for gusty showers and isolated thunderstorms this afternoon and evening as a cold front moves through the region.
According to the National Weather Service, a Marginal Risk for severe weather is in place today, Sunday, October 19. The main threat will be isolated damaging wind gusts of 30 to 40+ mph, especially between 2 p.m. and midnight.
