ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke Go Outside Festival is back for another fun weekend starting today, marking its 15th celebration.
From October 17 to October 19, Go Fest will kick off in Downtown Roanoke to bring the Highline Slackline Show, ProtownBMX Stunt Show presented by Gentry Locke Attorneys, and Timberworks’ Lumberjack Show at Elmwood Park’s Festival Basecamp.
“Everything is really geared towards hands-on activities, so not just walking by and learning about it, but like actually getting in and trying it,” Kait Pedigo, the events manager with the Roanoke Go Outside Foundation, said. “We’ve got climbing walls. We’ve got a paddling zone. We’ve got a bouldering wall. We’ve got guided hikes, we’ve got guided bike rides, we’ve got a kids’ bike zone, so bring the littles out.”
