The Botetourt County Virginia Department of Social Services announced that Virginia will use emergency funds to support SNAP households in November 2025. This follows a state of emergency declared by Governor Youngkin. Eligible households do not need to apply. Benefits will be distributed automatically.
Households will receive 25% of their regular monthly SNAP benefits each week, instead of the full amount at once. The benefits will be loaded onto EBT cards.
