BEDFORD, Va. (WFXR) – The National D-Day Memorial is hosting its annual Veterans Day observance ceremony at the Memorial in Bedford.
The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, November 11, at 11 a.m., and guided tours will begin at 1 p.m. Admission to the Memorial will be free for the public until noon and all day for veterans.
Event officials say veterans in attendance will be recognized during the ceremony, and encourage guests to bring their own chairs. Major General John P McLaren Jr., who retired after 37 years of service to the United States Army, will be the Keynote Speaker…
