ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)- Police in Roanoke have launched an investigation after a 17-year-old was found with a gunshot wound.
Officers responded to the call shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, in the 2900 block of Williamson Road NW. There, they found a 17-year-old male with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. The teenager was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Officers located a possible crime scene “in the area of Averett Street and Hillcrest Avenue NW,” according to the press release.
